How has farming changed over time? Students explore farming in the past and today, looking for changes that they find interesting or important. Working in small groups, they discuss their discoveries, decide what they want to focus on, and create a display to communicate their ideas. At the end of the session, students share both their group project and a short personal reflection: What did I think at the beginning? What do I think now? Did someone else's idea help me notice something new?

What can we do for others?

Through a collaborative Christmas project, students think beyond themselves and explore ideas of community, inclusion, kindness, and service. They may create a large group display, develop a community-service idea, or find another way to turn their thinking into action. The group discusses what matters to them and decides together what they would like to create or contribute.

What is happening in our world—and what could we do about it? Students identify issues, challenges, or contradictions they notice in today's world. Topics might involve the environment, technology, AI, community life, or another issue the group finds meaningful. They research, ask questions, listen to different perspectives, and explore possible solutions together. Groups then organize their thinking into a display, such as a tri-fold presentation board, and share their ideas with others. There may not be one “right” solution. The challenge is to think deeply, listen carefully, and find a way forward together.

Imagine • Design • Innovate • Present

What would a better future look like? Students work together to imagine and design a future they would like to live in. Their ideas might become a model city, a new invention, a piece of technology, clothing or costumes, a PowerPoint presentation—or something we haven't thought of yet. Students decide not only what they want to propose, but also how they want to present it. This session gives students greater freedom to develop their own ideas, solve practical problems, and find creative ways to make others understand—and become excited about—their vision.

Express • Connect • Create • Inspire

What do you love—and how can you make others care about it too? For the final project, students choose something they genuinely enjoy or care about and find a way to bring it to life for an audience. They might create a short film, perform a play, build a set or model, design costumes, create a presentation, tell a story—or combine several forms of expression. There is no prescribed presentation format. Students work together to decide what they want to communicate, how they want their audience to experience it, and how they will make it happen. The ideas are theirs. The decisions are theirs. The challenge is learning how to bring those ideas to life—together.
